AALC Kale

Kale, Dean and Science Professor at the Academy at Lillegard Castle. She is also the Head of the Sionnach House.



Personality: witty, sarcastic, and mischievous, but can easily switch moods. Depending on when you catch her, she can be flippant and rude, playful and catty, or angry and hostile.

History: Harpies live in clans of about 6-10 in the high elevation mountain valleys, preying on mountain sheep/goats and the occasional climber/skier . Kale came from one such clan in the Puy de Sancy in Massif Central, France. When the mountain started getting more human activity, around when Kale was born, the clan had to hide. When Kale was nine, she was seen and mistaken for a demon while flying. The man shot and the bullet grazed her eye. It skimmed her cheek and brow bones, making the eye completely useless. The harpies, not having advanced medical equipment, removed the eye, burned the wound, and sowed what was left of her eye lids closed. (It has now healed into a indented scar, and the stitches are still there.) Eventually, the human traffic was too dangerous and the harpies moved on. Kale traveled off the human radar and eventually met Valentin the faun. He would not leave and they ended up traveling together and happened upon Everly, where they then all founded the Academy at Lillegard Castle.

Likes: Strawberries, weapons, science, books, flying, forests, fields, night, Batman, dancing, rum, scaring kids, etc.

Dislikes: skiers, stupid people, being commanded, swimming, water, rain, etc.
